Smash is a game for FUN and ENGAGEMENT. It is designed for 7-11 year old boys with social-emotional challenges. It is a single-player iPad game which promotes enjoyment of strategy games as well as a hidden goal of computational thinking.
Right now we are in our researching period of building up data-collecting back-end and analyzing the datas to evaluate the effect such kind of game will have on helping with developing students’ computational thinking.
The game has 30 levels now and strategies are emphasized throughout the levels in order to achieve the goal of promote computational thinking.
